Boutique, low maintenance premium turf

Sir Grange Zoysia is a premium showpiece lawn, with a lush texture to walk across barefoot. Sir Grange thrives in a sunny environment and is best suited to a boutique garden or low traffic area. Slow growth habits make this unique variety very low maintenance. Sir Grange can be maintained at a range of heights to create visual appeal in your garden or landscaping.

Understanding the requirements to maintain this luxury lawn is key. Sir Grange Zoysia will take some extra time to establish due to its slow growth characteristics. Sir Grange Zoysia performs differently in South Australia compared to the warmer Northern states. In our climate, it performs best in a full sun environment and is not suited to areas with high shade and traffic.

High wear areas may experience wear marks, which will take time to repair. Speak to our friendly team to find out more about Sir Grange Zoysia and suitability to your area.

Sir Grange is available seasonally, from October to March as the warmth is needed to establish the lawn. Purchase with peace of mind knowing all Sir Grange Zoysia purchases are delivered with a 10- year product warranty, AusGap authenticity card and personalised lawn care guide for your new lawn.

Frequently Asked questions

In our South Australian climate, Sir Grange Zoysia is not shade tolerant. We find Sir Grange requires a full sun (6 hours daily) environment to thrive & grow to its full potential.

Unlike other turf varieties, Sir Grange is only harvested seasonally. We begin harvest in October & finish in March (weather pending). The optimal time to install Sir Grange is at the beginning of Spring.

Sir Grange requires very little mowing, edging and fertilising. It has slow growing habits, therefore mowing is only required as needed. In the cooler months, it will not require any mowing at all.

Sir Grange Zoysia is best suited to a boutique, low traffic garden. Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo or TifTuf Bermuda may be a more suitable choice for lawns with high use by children or pets.
