Sunnyside Instant Lawn was founded in 2006 with a simple mission: to make high-quality turf accessible to all South Australian homeowners.
Andrew and Sheridan Rowett established the business on a small 20-acre property in Mundulla, South Australia. As demand for their premium turf grew, so did the farm. Today, Sunnyside cultivates over 170 acres across three farms near Bordertown, supplying an impressive 390,000 square meters of turf annually to South Australia and Western Victoria.
As the largest supplier of DNA Certified Sir Walter and TifTuf Bermuda in South Australia, Sunnyside has earned a strong reputation for excellence. With over 19 years of experience, Andrew, Sheridan and their dedicated team have become trusted experts in the industry.
In 2014, Sunnyside joined Lawn Solutions Australia, expanding its turf variety to include Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo, TifTuf Bermuda, Sir Grange Zoysia, Eureka Kikuyu, and Nullarbor Couch.
Our team is the heart of Sunnyside. Many have called the South East home for years, with some having been part of the Sunnyside family for over a decade. We pride ourselves on our strong workplace culture and our passion for producing, selling, and delivering top-quality turf.

Recognising a shortage of high-quality turf in South Australia, Andrew founded a small 20-acre farm with his wife Sheridan, harvesting each roll by hand. Through innovation and dedication, Andrew has expanded Sunnyside into a large-scale, 170-acre turf operation.
